A NetID account is required for students, faculty, and staff to access key Oakland University systems, including MySAIL, DegreeWorks, eBill, OU Email, Microsoft 365, and other campus services. This service includes multiple NetID-related offerings, such as:
- Create NetID Account – For new or returning users who need to establish a NetID.
- Reactivate NetID Account – For former students, faculty, or staff whose accounts have expired (left before July 2022).
- Request a NetID Password Reset – For users who have forgotten their password or need assistance resetting it.
- Report an Issue with NetID Account – For users experiencing login or access issues related to their NetID.
If you are a returning student, staff, or faculty member, you may need to create a new NetID account rather than reactivate it. If you are experiencing login issues, resetting your password at netid.oakland.edu may resolve the problem.
