Reactivate NetID Account

Former Oakland University students, faculty, or staff who left before July 2022 may need to reactivate their NetID account to access important services, such as:

  • Unofficial transcripts in MySAIL
  • Tax documents, pay stubs, and other employee information in Sail
  • eBill for students only
  • DegreeWorks for students only

If you left OU after July 2022, your NetID remains active and does not require reactivation. Students who graduated before 1987 are unable to reactivate their account, and should contact the Office of the Registrar if they need transcripts.

If you left OU before July 2022 and are returning to the university in any capacity (e.g., enrolling as a student again, being rehired as faculty/staff), you will need to create a new NetID instead of reactivating your old one. For detailed instructions see the "Related Articles" attached to this service.
