Additionally, users can report printer malfunctions, connectivity issues, or print job errors to receive prompt support.
Who is Eligible?
Users who own or have access to an OU office printer.
Prerequisites and Expectations
For reported printer issues, the OU Technology Center will reach out to troubleshoot remotely or schedule an on-site visit for further support. Users should ensure the printer is powered on, connected, and any error messages are noted for more efficient troubleshooting.
For installation requests, users will need to specify whether the printer is local or networked. The Technology Center will schedule an appointment to assist with the physical setup, and for network printers, the request will be forwarded to the network team to configure the network settings and assign an IP address. Once this step is completed, the Technology Center will map the printer to the user’s computer for proper functionality. In all cases, users can expect coordinated communication and follow-up to ensure successful setup and resolution of issues.
