Adobe Enterprise Licensing

Oakland University has an Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) with Adobe providing access to Acrobat Pro and Adobe Express.

Active full-time staff and faculty

Currently enrolled full-time students

Students

Currently enrolled full-time students are automatically eligible to access Adobe Express.

Gaining Access
Adobe Login Process:
  1. Go to the Adobe Express website (express.adobe.com) and click “Sign In”.
  2. Enter your school email address. You must be using an OU email.
  3. Select the option for "Company or School Account", if prompted.
  4. Enter your school NetID password.
  5. Access Adobe Express.  Once signed in, your license will be automatically applied.

Employees

Active, full-time faculty and staff have access to an Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Express license as part of Oakland University’s ETLA (Enterprise Team License Agreement) with Adobe.

Licenses may be used on up to two Oakland University-owned computers and is intended for university-related operations only.

Gaining Access
Adobe Login Process:

1.    Access Adobe: Go to the Adobe website (adobe.com) or open an Adobe application like Creative Cloud or Acrobat.
2.    Enter your Oakland email (@oakland.edu).
3.    Select the option for "Company or School Account", if prompted.
Note: It is very important to login by clicking "Company or School Account" or else you will not have access and will receive pop-ups stating that you are using a trial version.
4.    Enter your work credentials (NetID and password) on this page to authenticate.
5.    Access to your Adobe licenses will show and be available for use.

All admin roles within the Adobe portal will be limited to UTS staff only.  If you have a specific need that requires admin access, please submit an Adobe Additional Access form.

Note: Adobe Perpetual licenses will not be supported by UTS nor approved by UTS for purchase. 

Add-on Products
Eligible staff and employees with a business need may request access to the additional Adobe licenses listed below for an added fee. 
 
  • Creative Cloud All Apps - $55.00
  • Shared Device License - $0.00 (limited quantity available)
  • Acrobat Pro - $18.54
  • Adobe Sign - $22.27
  • Adobe Express - $2.95
  • AI Assistant - $24.74

Please note that standalone Adobe products cannot be purchased; only the fixed set of applications included in our ETLA (Enterprise Term License Agreement) is available for use.

Supervisors must request access separately for full-time student employees to be granted additional access, if needed for business purposes.

Note: Prices listed above are per license for a 12-month term.
 
Request an Adobe Add-on License: 
Departments are responsible for funding additional Adobe licenses required to complete their work.  UTS will charge each department for their respective add-on licenses at the end of the fiscal year.  Once add-on licenses are assigned, the associated charges cannot be modified and the licenses cannot be transferred.

Please submit the Creative Cloud All Apps Licenses Request Form for any licensing requests related to Creative Cloud All Apps.

The Adobe Access Request Form should be submitted for all other add-on licenses and additional access requests.
