Former Oakland University faculty or staff, or students who last registered for class before July 2022, may need to reactivate their NetID account to access important services, such as:
- Unofficial transcripts in MySAIL
- Tax documents, pay stubs, and other employee information in Sail
- eBill for students only
- DegreeWorks for students only
Important Notes
You should only reactivate your account if you are NOT returning to Oakland University as a student, faculty, or staff! If you are returning to the University as a student, staff, or faculty, and your account is no longer active, you will need to create a new NetID account.
Students who last registered for class after July 2022 do not need to reactivate their NetID account.
Students who graduated before 1987 are unable to reactivate their account, and should contact the Office of the Registrar if they need transcripts.

Successfully reactivate NetID accounts will take effect immediately and users can login to Sail or MySAIL.
