Active faculty or staff assigned a desk phone.
Prerequisites and Expectations
For requests, UTS will review requirements and a technician may reach out for additional information or clarification before proceeding. Once all details are confirmed, the phone features will be tested and implemented.
For issues, UTS will review the issue and begin troubleshooting. A technician may reach out for additional information or to perform testing.
Advanced Features Available
- Contact Center (UCCX): Setup or modify call center environments and agent configuration.
- Call Trees: Create or update automated menus that route callers based on user input.
- Hunt Groups: Configure groups of phones/extensions to ring in a defined sequence or pattern.
- Advanced Queuing: Implement or adjust call queues, including wait times, overflow handling, and messaging.
- Cisco Conference Calling: Enable or troubleshoot conference call functionality for meetings and group communication.
- Other Advanced Features: Submit requests for additional features or inquire about telephony solutions not listed above.
