Banner provides Oakland University faculty and staff with secure access to the university’s Banner ERP system, which supports various administrative functions such as student records, finance, human resources, and more. This service includes requests for access, data permissions, and related system functionalities.

  • Banner Access Request – Request new access or modifications to existing Banner accounts based on job role and departmental needs.
  • Banner Accounts Receivable Access – Request access to Banner’s Accounts Receivable module for processing student payments, invoicing, and account reconciliation.
  • Banner Advancement Access – Request access to the Advancement module for managing alumni records, fundraising, and donor engagement.
  • Banner Form Fusion Development Access – Request permissions to develop and manage Form Fusion documents used for generating reports and formatted outputs in Banner.
  • Banner Secure Person Data Access – Request access to view and manage sensitive personal information in Banner, such as Social Security numbers and other confidential records.
  • Banner UC4 Application Manager Access – Request access to UC4 (AppWorx) for scheduling and managing batch jobs in Banner.
  • Banner Unix Access – Request Unix-level access for technical support and system administration of Banner’s backend infrastructure.
  • Banner Vendor Access – Request access for third-party vendors who require secure integration or support within the Banner system.

Who is Eligible?

Active faculty, staff, and authorized personnel who require Banner access for administrative purposes.

Prerequisites and Expectations

Access is granted based on job role, department, and business need. Some requests may require additional approvals or training before access is granted. All Banner users must adhere to university data security and compliance policies.
