This service allows Oakland University staff to request the deployment of updated or newly created Scribe blocks from the test environment to the production environment in DegreeWorks. Scribe blocks define degree audit rules and requirements, ensuring accurate academic advising and student degree progress tracking.
Requests should include the specific Scribe block(s) to be promoted, details on any changes made, and confirmation that testing has been completed in the test environment.
Who is Eligible?
Authorized DegreeWorks Administrators and Staff.
Prerequisites and Expectations
Requests are reviewed by the Enterprise Applications team, who will verify the changes, ensure proper testing has been completed, and schedule the promotion.
