This service enables Oakland University departments and business units to create and maintain Argos Datastores for use in report development. An Argos Datastore is a structured data repository that allows for optimized data retrieval and reporting through the Argos platform. These datastores support efficient access to university data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for administrative and academic purposes.
Departments requesting a new datastore must specify the required data sources and intended usage. All requests must align with university data governance policies and require approval from relevant data stewards.
Who is eligible?
Active faculty or staff who are eligible to use Argos reporting.
Prerequisites and Expectations
Requests are reviewed by the Enterprise Applications team to verify data access requirements and compliance with university policies. Once approved, the datastore will be created, and users will receive instructions for accessing and utilizing the datastore within Argos.
