Request Software Installation Assistance

Use this service to request assistance with installing approved software on university-managed devices. Users can request the installation of university-provided software or software purchased by a department, so long as the license keys are in-hand.

Who is eligible?

Users issued a university-managed device.

Prerequisites and Expectations

The OU Help Desk will review the request to ensure the software is authorized and compatible with the device. Once the initial check is completed, the Help Desk will schedule a remote session or in-person appointment to complete the installation and verify that the software is functioning correctly.
