Oakland University utilizes Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) to isolate communication on the University's network for security reasons or for selective application of Quality of Service rules. You can request a specific VLAN assignment, remove a previous assignment, or report a VLAN issue.
Who is Eligible?
All active faculty, staff, or students.
Prerequisites and Expectations
After a request is submitted or an incident is reported, the Network Communication Services (NCS) team will review the ticket and reach out for more information or to provide troubleshooting.
