If you have legally changed your name, your NetID and email address can be updated to match your new legal name. All existing email, contacts, groups, and related data will remain intact after the change.
Who is Eligible?
Students, faculty, staff, and alumni with an active NetID who have completed a legal name change through the appropriate university office.
Prerequisites and Expectations
In order to change your NetID, you must first update your legal name with the university.
