Request Server, File, or Folder Restore

This service applies to recovery storage solutions for Oakland University faculty and staff members only that have servers hosted by University Technology Services. This service is not applicable to data recovery within Google Drive, OneDrive, or student-owned devices. 

Who is Eligible?

Faculty and staff. If servers are in need of support, please see the TSS team that was involved with the initial installation. 

Prerequisites and Expectations

By default, virtual machines that are commissioned by TSS are backed up daily after 6:00pm EST with a 30-day backup retention period. Please note that this is a service request and that we cannot guarantee the restoration of a file or server.
