This article explains workarounds for users who are unable to view all appointments in shared Google calendars due to permission issues.

Who is Eligible?

Active Faculty or Staff

  1. A small percentage of NetID account individuals experience the inability to view all appointments in their Google calendars. The workaround is to perform one of the following steps:
  2. The owner of the calendar must elevate the permissions settings to the highest level and, once the individual can access the calendar, and then modify the settings to the desired level.
  3. Grant the highest permissions, then delete the person and close the calendar, then re-add the person back to the calendar with the desired permissions.
  4. Copy the HTML calendar address from calendar settings and have the individual paste the URL in the "Other Calendar" field. Add a friend's calendar.
