Uninstalling GlobalProtect for macOS

Overview

If you need to uninstall the GlobalProtect VPN application on Mac for troubleshooting or personal preference reasons, use the following guide.

Guide

  1. Open the Terminal application on Mac.
  2. Copy and paste the following command in Terminal and press Enter:

    sudo /Applications/GlobalProtect.app/Contents/Resources/uninstall_gp.sh

  3. You should then be prompted to enter the admin password of your Mac (Note: this will be invisible text).

Who is Eligible?

  • macOS users with administrator privileges on their computer.
