Evisions Tax Template Installation

This guide provides steps for retrieving templates from the Evisions Tax Center, uploading them into the appropriate environment via the Evisions server, and verifying their connection to Banner forms. The process ensures tax documents like PXRW213 are printed using the correct templates through FormFusion.

Instructions

Go to https://evisions.com

  1. Click on “Support”
  2. Sign in with your evisions account

  1. Click on “FormFusion Tax Center” menu option

  1. Templates are listed for download
    1. Click the "Download this file" button for the tax templates you wish to download
    2. The downloads will be in zip file format
    3. Save to a folder on your PC
    4. Unzip or extract the files
    5. Now, go to the Oakland Evisions website (via Windows Machine/OS)

  1. Use your NetID/Password to login / From the eLauncher:
    1. Click on the appropriate area in the menu.
    2. Click on “formfusion” bar
    3. Click on the FormFusion button
    4. You may see a welcome screen or an update screen.

  1. Once the application opens,
    1. Right click on the appropriate Environment folder (TEST, PROD)

  1. You will see folders for all the yearly templates. If the needed Year folder does not exist,
    1. Create a new folder.
    2. Making sure the Environment folder is highlighted,
    3. Right click on the environment and select "New Folder" or click on the “Add a new Folder to the Process Tree” button on the tool bar.

  1. Now to import the templates
    1. Right click on the new / appropriate folder.
    2. Select “Import from File”.

  1. Select the templates you Down Loaded from Evisions.

  1. To see which Banner forms utilize the templates, open the template folder.

A form should show (Ex. pxrw213)

  1. From the banjobs server the gjajobs.shl calls evilp to print through the evisions server to use the template
