Issues with Audio/Video Playback on Apple M Series Laptops

For users of Macbooks with M series processors.

If you ever noticed when plugged into a classroom system during video playback issues such as:

• Video pauses and jumps ahead
• or video will not load
• or audio glitches
• or audio will not play.

but it will work just fine when the HDMI cable is unplugged.

This is a known problem for Macbooks with an M series processor.  To fix the issue, perform the following procedure.

1. Plug Macbook into the room system and confirm video connection
2. Reboot computer.

Afterward the video and audio should play back correctly.
