What Is Scope Creep

Scope creep occurs when project requirements expand beyond the original agreement.

Example:
Adding additional rooms to a projector initiative without increasing the budget.

Procedures

Process for Submitting a Change Request

1. Navigate to the project
2. Select Actions
3. Submit a formal Change Request
4. Document:
   • Impact on timeline
   • Impact on budget
5. Obtain approval from:
   • Project Manager
   • Client or Sponsor

Do not simply add new tasks without formal documentation.
